WABI SABI SATURDAYS
Wabi Sabi is an ancient Japanese way of life. It celebrates all lifes imperfections as being perfect in creating the uniqueness of each one of us and the world. It is the Wisdom of the Heart that states all we need to be happy already lies within us. Join me in exploring the various aspects of this ancient way of knowing, and in creating an original work of art each time. Various media and techniques will be explored in each class, relating to each new Wabi Sabi focus.
Each class begins with a pearl of Wabi Sabi Wisdom to be our Center of Attention for the day. A short demo of the media and techniques to be used will then lead to the Creative Play of the art piece. A writing formula used at the end will bring forth the 'story of the piece' to be shared. Gift yourself with a Saturday morning of play, exploration, engaging companionship, and different life concepts. Classes will start again in the spring, 2012.
Registration and payment is required in advance since class size is limited: $49 each class.
